I spent a year capturing moments of my sister piano playing, who suffers from cerebral atrophy disease. The audio has no popularly recognized beauty, just the sound of the act that Qing loves.

This was then merged with the popularly recognized melody (Flute Sonata in E-Flat Major, BWV 1031: II. Siciliano, by Bach) to explore the tension between chaos and routine.

I wanted to reveal the current state of the struggle of people with mental illness and their families to emphasize the importance of compassion and understanding in treating patients. Through subjective editing and arrangement, I seek to challenge social norms and criticize welfare agencies that profit from patients without truly understanding their needs. This work also provides an insightful commentary on the conflict patients and their families face - the desire for attention from society and the refusal to be exposed to society.
